My name is Joel Svenfelt and I’m a freelance musician, guitarist and guitar instructor currently based in Jakobstad (Finland).
About me
I graduated with a BA in Culture and Arts within the degree programme in music (Educator) from Novia UAS.
I’ve played alongside nordic artists such as Nils Landgren, Chris Kläfford, Jan Johansen, Samuel Ljungblahd, Krista Siegfrids and Osmo Ikonen among others.
Philip Järvenpää Blues Experience, Hot Club de Jakobstad (Jazz Manouche), Fyrverk, Jacob Gospel Band, River E, Otto & Joel duo and Dennis Rönngård trio are groups I play with on a regular basis.
My playing is mainly based on american jazz/blues/soul/funk/pop/acoustic music. Throughout the years I’ve widend my skills to become comfortable to play most genres out there.
Services
You can book me as a musician for a variety of different projects such as a cooperating musician for artists, choirs, theatres or projects.
I offer music entertainment in a variety of evironments such as; restaurants, weddings, funerals and other events. I can perform with duo, trio or with a full band.
You can hire me as a session musician for studio recordings. You can also order guitar tracks to your studioproject, both electric guitar and acoustic guitar.
